R.I.P. Craig Sager

What a sad day. Feelin’ this one. Craig Sager has succumbed to his long battle with a rare form of leukemia at the age of 65. Gone far too soon.

I love that Sages truly showed (and wore) his passions and personality everyday. He’s an embodiment of what I think of when I reflect on our own message we push: to Gowhere You Love. It was only made even more clear with the touching tribute video, narrated by Ernie Johnson below. Tonight’s TNT doubleheader is a must-see… and not for the couple of good games.

Some more of the tributes across the league today, and beyond:

#RIP Craig Sager. You lived your life full of love and full of fun. That's how you live your life.

Craig made his presence in baseball throughout his career and was a lifelong Cubs fan. He got to see them win the World Series at least.

Craig Sager from colleagues in the media and many more today too.

And the best for last:

Doing my part in honoring the legacy, as Dwyane Wade so wonderfully said above, of Craig Sager and wearing this today in tribute. R.I.P.

The #SagerStrong movement will live on forever.

UPDATE: If you can’t get enough of all of the above, the tributes that made the telecast tonight were all so beautiful. Here are some more.
