RJ Hunter game-winning 3 vs. Baylor
This will be replayed for years to come.
Moments ago, Georgia State’s RJ Hunter capped a 13-0 run with this NBA-range 3 with 2.8 seconds left that caused his dad and head coach Ron Hunter, who tore his achilles on Sunday celebrating when Georgia St. won their conference tourney to earn a bid to the tournament, TO LITERALLY FELL OFF HIS CHAIR!
You can’t script this. Father and son, the celebration Sunday, the celebration today. The way they came back. This is what March Madness is all about.
We don’t have an NCAA section here, but this is fitting for the NBA section because after all, RJ Hunter is a 1st round prospect. Look out for him, Kevin Ware (yup, that Kevin Ware) and the Georgia State Panthers to continue their Cinderella run on Saturday.
