Mickey Factz announces ‘Mau2e’

March 26th 2012. At 3:26 pm, I released my project, Mickey MauSe. The overwhelming, under appreciated and critically acclaimed project was ground breaking in story telling. It encompassed art and choices into Hip Hop. After gaining inspiration to create more music, I decided to continue the story. Mau2e is being created as we speak. I will be producing the bulk of the project as I did before and also it will be a continuation story, beginning from track 8 on Mickey MauSe: Crowded. The storyline will center around Mau2e being overseas, meeting Blek Le Rat, living with HIV and leaving his legacy on the world. It is a very important project and for that, I am taking precautions and time to create it. It will be released on December 13th, 2014 at 12:13. A saturday. So 12/13/14 at 12:13 pm, Mau2e returns. It will be based during the time of 1988 to 1996. Throughout the year, hints of the story will be leaked and updates will come as well. Prepare.

- Mickey Factz

On the two year anniversary of his most creative project to date, Mickey Factz announces the sequel! And if it’s anything like the original, it most definitely will not suck. The original was fantastic — one of my favorite projects of that year that had an exemplary storyline and character development that was on another level. Mickey Factz was Mickey MauSe.

And with this announcement today, Mau2e is instantly on the top tier of projects I’m looking forward to in 2014. Yup, it’s already there, and going to stay there. I can’t wait to get immersed in the story once again, which has quite the preface already. Listen to Mickey hint at more MauSe details and reflect on “what was supposed to be the album” in my interview with him, ICYMI. Also… download his newest track from earlier this week below.
