Yelawolf’s new album off Shady Records will have one lone feature — the boss man himself Eminem. a.k.a. the “Best Friend”?!
Whatever the case, I’ll be tuning in for that and the album as a whole come April 21st.

Yelawolf premieres the video for “Whiskey In A Bottle” — the next single off his upcoming Love Story album due in April (21st to be exact.) If you missed it, here’s the badass cover for it too. Everytime I hear new Yela btw, I gotta queue up “Till It’s Gone”. Still love that hook after all these months.
Yelawolf stars in a car chase and lyric video for his Shady XV solo cut. I’m diggin’ the type that goes along with this. See if you can vibe to “Down” up above, though for me it’s still “Til It’s Gone” >
“Till It’s Gone” goes down as one of my favorite songs in Yelawolf’s catalogue. It’s had a steady spot in my rotation since last fall and so it was refreshing to hear it presented above.
Visuals for the new acoustic version as he brings in Travis Barker to help strip down the song to its core. Vibes for the weekend, indeed.
It’s Shady XV day — celebrating 15 years of Shady Records since Marshall’s debut album, The Slim Shady LP. It’s a 2-disc set with the 1st containing all new records from the label; Eminem appearing on over half of them. Disc 2 is some familiar classics + the bonus track demo version of “Lose Yourself” that dropped last week and I have a full review on in the link.
Of the new Eminem tracks on Disc 1, and save for the official releases before today, I’d check “Twisted” with Skylar Grey & Yelawolf. Em’s familiar collaborator for a killer female hook does it again, yet this one’s different because the song is, as advertised, twisted. Brings me back to the Eminem of 10/15 years ago.
