August Alsina “FML” f/ Pusha T

August Alsina is back with an inspirational message for the kids.

In his anti-suicidal new music video for “FML” which is featured on his debut album Testimony, Alsina dances around the idea of death, with many shots of him hanging himself from the ceiling with inquiring police officers surrounding him. Though he sings about wanting to commit suicide at many bleak points in his life, he reminds the listener that suicide is never the answer.

The video ends with a number to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline & this excerpt

“I’ve been where you are… Through the struggle & through the pain. It’s what makes us stronger than most. When there seems to be no way forward in life, you have to make a way.”

Extremely touching message, August.
