Mint Lab Astronauts “Been Trill”

After a series of new audio releases the past couple of months, it’s only right that M.L.A. brings some new visuals to follow. Their first video is for “Been Trill” — one of the standout single releases in the past few weeks that I sonically likened to D12’s “Purple Pills”. Great choice for a visual because I feel like the record has it all to attract a casual listener — slick rhymes, memorable one-liners, and a catchy flow and beat.

For the visuals, the Astronauts collab with Clark Airlines behind the lens, who adds a flurry of dope added graphics like the fire that breathes out, illustrations over both and j.pak, and a series of camera shakes and color corrections to match the mood of the song. Definitely on the top tier of music videos by any artist this month so press play above.
