Young Gully “Lies”

Before Young Gully gives up his next project, HM5, the Bay area native hands us a new visual treat in the form of “Lies.” This track can be found on HM5 which Gully will make available through itunes on April 8th. In my opinion Young Gully is one of today’s most underrated MC’s. I don’t see Gully being talked about throughout my circle of networks, and still homie manages to deliver time and time again.

East Oakland’s Young Gully releases the fourth video off his critically acclaimed HM5 album (presented by Thizzler On The Roof), depicting how the weight of society and what’s pushed on us by media can warp the average person. “Lies is for the everyday working man,” says Gully, “It’s saying that society doesn’t want us to survive as normal people. They want us to portray something else and not speak on the real issues we face day to day.” Lies is directed by up & coming director Wooyeon Cho and produced by Johnny Red of F1rst Class.
