We’ve all been there before, sometimes more than others. Childish Gambino pens his depature from Community and upcoming sophomore album in seven consecutive instagrams of his thoughts on hotel paper. Ranging from his fears from success to unplanned pregnancies, he gives us a glimpse into his inner struggles over the past year.
I think the second to last note card really connected with me. Its fall and its beautiful but sometimes the holidays get to me, but I cherish the new beginnings of the new year. I look forward to you next cd. Until then, Gambino’s latest single will have to hold me over.

Its easy to say, why doesn’t he just snap out of it, but battling depression is difficult to understand unless you’ve been there yourself. Depression Quest, an award-winning, “non fiction” video game seeks to give people perspective on what its like to suffer from depression day to day.
“Depression Quest is an interactive fiction game where you play as someone living with depression. You are given a series of everyday life events and have to attempt to manage your illness, relationships, job, and possible treatment. This game aims to show other sufferers of depression that they are not alone in their feelings, and to illustrate to people who may not understand the illness the depths of what it can do to people.”

We love you Gambino – You’re always allowed to grow up, if you want.
