Birds scream at the top of their lungs in horrified hellish rage every morning at daybreak to warn us all of the truth, but sadly we don’t speak bird.

Summer is about to close for good so it’s perfect timing for Lewis to declare he’s the “Lord Of Autumn”. I oblige given his stellar work above.
It begins with an ominous, chilling piano melody that continues as the layers increase shortly after. Lewis spits with a fiery flow and clarity, clearly motivated about the ills of society. Plus, when you think he’s done, he’s not. That makes this more impressive as you listen and realize that he’s rapping so fast and smoothly for three straight minutes. Too many gems to recount in this space so give this a listen, and then the required listen again afterward.
BONUS: Lewis’ late last week release is also below “Black Boys Get Killed For Being This Good”. With a title like that, you know the controversal Lewis is on that tip below with a variety of ear-catching lines. I like this one too. Both of these will NOT appear on his upcoming project, Daggerwolf, which should shape up to be pretty excellent if these 2 don’t fit in.
