Kanye West @ iHeartRadio Fest (Full Performance)

Last night, I happened to be up late as Kanye West headlined the iHeartRadio Fest at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, circa midnight local time there.

The live stream through Yahoo was super quality so I sat back and enjoyed as ‘Ye ran through hit after hit dating back to College Dropout and everywhere in between. It was an interesting set because Kanye had to call for a quick pause during “All Day” as the lighting wasn’t bright enough. The lighting was a superb backdrop in general though and for “All Day” especially, the added live sound was crazy.

The pause wasn’t the only hiccup throughout, whether it be the sound stopping too short or not resuming quickly enough. As a result, ‘Ye said a few times that he’s running through the songs to get everything in amidst his allotted time. The hiccups naturally affected peak energy level (the 2nd time “All Day” came on for example) but we still got a great set from Kanye. It’s nostalgic to hear every hit one after another, especially as Kanye strung many of the ones from the first 3 albums together towards the end of the set.

One other note:

That was Kanye repeating his 2020 presidency intentions during the last song of the night: “Only One”. Enjoy the full set, save for “Stronger”, below.
