The homie out of Detroit puts together a very clean visual for “No Gas”off his upcoming “Field Trip” EP releasing tomorrow. The style he can bring is just so smooth to me, every track A-Minus sends me is always so clean. He has such a raw voice for an emcee because of how distinct it is. A-Minus gets creative with his flows, I can tell that he pushes his limits but still stays within his ability. His music never seems forced or artificial. A-Minus is definitely and artist that will continue to give you that raw underground sound no matter how big he gets, I really would like to see people attract to his music and start too see what he is all about, the talent here is amazing. Check this new video by A-Minus.
Detroit hip hop artist A-Minus brings a cool vibe track titled “Drop’n Jewelz”. The sample on this song alone gives a soulful feel for A-Minus to take it to some real shit and even crack jokes at these rappers trying to contest him. Giving his confidence on every bar and making sure people know what he is trying to do “Keep it calm, and real cool”. Telling the people who are fake to make way because he is coming with his day ones. His all around sound is very much his own but to any track, he can bring its own vibe, I can hear his sound going in a positive direction every track I hear. Showing love from Detroit, A-Minus gave us at GWHH a shoutout “From the style, even the Chi has caught wind of me…”. Keep an eye out for this guy.
A-Minus is an artist I’m getting pretty familiar with. Usually I like to do nice in depth write ups, but I feel like this one I should let speak for itself. A Valentine’s Day Premiere, A-Minus gives a song for the ladies. Check it out!
Just recently I found this artist A-Minus, out of Detroit Michigan. Right away his music caught my attention, his sound is so dope, his flow is very elegant and natural to any beat he goes on. In the hip hop world, there is so much more to the culture than just the music. One thing that to me is a staple in the hip hop culture has always been shoes, whether they are Jordan’s, Foam’s, Classic Nikes, and even those Adidas that have been around forever. A-Minus drops “1000 Laces”, a one verse track showing his all around passion for the SneakerHead culture. Its ups and downs for him, with the new retros or the classics that he stood in line for outside in the cold, what it is like for him as a SneakerHead since he was 10 years old. For A-Minus, sneakers are so much more to him than just some shoes, it’s a movement. As a SneakerHead myself, I really felt this track.
I’m never alone, especially home of all places. I’m either blunted or up in the front of a thousand laces.
A-Minus, a Detroit hip hop artist, I must say Detroit hip hop artist never disappoint me, and A-Minus surly didn’t disappoint me. With that classic hip hop feel to his music his sound and flow are so unique, you can really tell this guy has a lot to show for. “All On You” he describes his life and some struggles he has gone through and he ties it into his come up. A-Minus tells a story about how progressing through life to all go back into his music, I really got the feel he wanted to show that each stage in his music career relates to the little things in his life, growing as a man and a rapper. A lot more to come from this guy!
