A Yeezy Boost White?!
The story goes: Kanye West attends an all-white attire boat party hosted by new adidas signee James Harden and debuts an all-white version of his Yeezy Boost Lows. Geez, we’re all still going crazy about this past weekend’s “Pirate Black” release.
UPDATE: Here’s the best quality look so far (FOH grainy first look…)
Said grainy first look:
UPDATE: Got eeeemmmmm!
It won’t see release, but these new Pro Models honoring Jam Master Jay are niiice. I get the vintage feel but also a modern one with Jay on the back like it is.
Unfortuantely, Complex says the kicks were made for Shake, one of Jay’s friends, and DMC. But hey, maybe now that it’s circulating there will be such demand that adidas can’t ignore?
Yeezy Season approaching, Fuck what, fuck whatever y’all been wearin…
Here’s our next best look since the debut of Yeezy Season 1 in the February fashion show and it’s none other than The Weeknd who models the line for Kanye and adidas, as presented by GQ. There’s also a video below with GQ’s style editors (Jim Moore and Will Welch) breaking down a few pieces and behind the scenes of Weeknd’s photoshoot. On top of the Black Lows that are coming this weekend, I need these Yeezy Boots for the Winter. I digress… scroll below!
At our fitting and photo shoot, you found a comfort zone with the Yeezy clothes pretty quickly. What did you like about them? Why do they work for you?
I really felt like he targeted someone like me. The camo, the army look, the black boots, the nonchalant kind of vagrant look. I relate to it. It relates to my story. Kanye is such a great friend of mine as well, when he asked me I couldn’t say no. It was the least I could do.

Gorgeous, clean, official images from adidas Originals today who make that August 22nd release date 100% official too.
Join me in trying futily for these next Saturday! (My favorite versions of Yeezy Boosts yet, so I may actually go above and beyond to pull some strings for this one.)
I couldn’t let the day get away without spotlighting the announcement of Pharrell x adidas Supershell. He links up with 4 artists to collaborate on a new, limited release on August 7th. These designs are already fresh and that’s even before you dive into the collaborating artist and Pharrell’s reasons for inspiration.
I’m particularly highlighting Zaha Hadid, given my architecture degree and the fact that she’s one of my favorite architects. The shelltoe is amazing and the yellow accents are subtle and on point too. In the video, there’s some flower print to the shelltoes and that certainly works too. Scroll below for the photos and the video wherein these quotables are derived from.
More on the other collabs below!
The Yeezy Collection is heavily rumored for a full release this Fall so this news shouldn’t be too shocking. However, according to the Sneaker Illuminati, the Yeezy Boot 950 will definitely see release this fall, as well as that ninja black colorway (Pirate Black, technically) of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Lows. All of these colorways seen back at the fashion show this winter I would love to rock (that includes you, Moon Rock) so I’ll start tucking away some cash and maybe save a summer vacay for this Fall.
All the colorways for the Yeezy Boot are: Peyote, Pirate Black, Moon Rock, and Chocolate.
For the Yeezy Boost 350: Pirate Black, Beluga Blue/Black, and Silver Grey/Black.
So the Yeezy Boost Low 350’s dropped this weekend to impossible to meet demand. I came up empty handed too and though I still look forward to seein’ someone rockin’ these in person, I am more comforted that these Yeezy Boost Low “Black” editions are coming up next. Modern Notoriety cites a rumored August release, just in time for the big Fall runout adidas has planned. I’ll set aside some dough for this drop for sure. Looks like a sleek ninja shoe, reminding me why I like Y-3’s kicks so much too.
Here’s ‘Ye rockin’ them already…
