Kanye West “Drunk In Love (Remix)”

UPDATE: Dirty/CDQ is below as Mike Dean also helped with production.

02.14.14 07:07pm: New Kanye?! Outta nowhere for sure. Kanye chooses to add a Yeezus trap sound to the beat and rap for the first half of Bey & Jay‘s “Drunk In Love”. ‘Ye drops some hot bars with a comical, sexually explicit overtone that are sure to entertain. The new beat adds a level of energy to make this more of a going out song — key for fans of the original. One subtlety to love with the production: how about ‘Ye dusting off that “Flashing Lights” sample during Beyonce’s verse?

I approve of this one, in general — listen/DL below:

Beyonce & Jay Z cover Billboard

Another magazine cover for Beyonce & Jay Z as their performance stills actually remind me of “Crazy In Love” on the new Billboard above. It’s for the annual Power 100 list, which you can view here, on top of the issue’s cover story.

Beyonce & Jay Z to perform at GRAMMYs

After rumors have swindled, CBS has confirmed Beyonce & Jay Z performing at this year’s Grammys next week in a new commercial. I suspect “Drunk In Love” will be a part of their performance, that can also feature who knows who? That’s what the Grammy performances are about.

Also slated to perform: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Daft Punk, Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, and even more.

Beyonce “Drunk In Love” f/ Jay Z

“Drunk In Love” will be one of the first two singles to hit radio from Beyonce’s surprise self-titled album late last week. As such, here’s the official free release of the video starring Jay Z above. That other single, oh by the way? The Pharrell-produced “XO”.
