Caleb James is getting ready for the release of his next project The Jones 2.0 which will be impacting the world this spring, and today we get a chance to hear a new offering from that project. Today he dropped Honesty and Loyalty produced by himself and Steve “Stone” Huff.
The Jones 2.0 is expected to have production from No ID, Nez & Rio and Mr. James himself.
I think any song named after the former promising Bulls center will grab my attention. I don’t quite get the connection, but Save Money’s Caleb James dropped the visuals for “Eddy Curry” today, set in a cold, snowy winter as nicely captured by director Brandon “N2ition” Riley. The Jones 2.0 is Caleb’s next project on the way in 2014.
Directed by Verluxe. Produced by Stix & Thelonious Martin
A lot went into making this video come to life and the final result seems to make it look like it was all worth it. Kami De Chukwu and Joey Purp or by their group name Leather Corduroys of the Savemoney militia finally drop the video for “Still Alive”, which they originally planned to release in 2013. The video also features appearances from Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, Tokyo Shawn, Caleb James, Dally Auston, Brian Fresco and producers Thelonius Martin and Stix.
Look out for much more music from this collective including a Leather Corduroys LP slated for release this year, Tokyo Shawn’s Wave Theory and a new Donnie Trumpet project.
