Nicki Minaj & Chris Brown @ iHeartRadio Pool Party

I literally just landed from Las Vegas as the keen reader already knows if they saw our snapchat @gowherehiphop 😉

But that said, I wasn’t able to catch Nicki and Chris Brown in person at the iHeartRadio Pool Party that took place at Caesar’s Palace last night. Ironically, I was in Caesar’s that night for dinner though, ha.

Anyway, we can all relive their performances with a rip of the live stream below, including Nicki’s new songs and guests David Guetta and Babe Rexha. I got a tip that Chris Brown was actually sick all night and arrived at his afterparty spot at Drais Nightclub after this performance at… 10pm! Not his scheduled late night performance at 1 or 2 in the morning, but right away! He still came through and the club thanked him for at least making the effort and following thru with some sort of performance so it was an early surprise for those who hit Drais early. Also the first time in history a hip hop/R&B artist has started ahead of his/her scheduled start time.

T.I. f/ Chris Brown “Private Show”

T.I. & Chris Brown link up with a long list of lingerie-laden ladies (aight, I kinda forced this alliteration) for their new visual to “Private Dancer”. It proceeds as you’d expect but with actually a cool way of switching rooms. Had almost a diorama like feel to it.

Best part of the video though is probably the last 15 seconds when Chris Brown and T.I. have a humorous dance-off. Well-played and acted out, fellas.

DJ Khaled f/ Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, & Big Sean “How Many Times”

By now, it’s pretty much a given how formulaic a new DJ Khaled single is, and today, so is the video. The self-aware DJ Khaled presents another ridiculous 30 second skit that I can easily see Aziz Ansari’s Tom Haverford character loving and then the video proceeds to showcase the ladies while the other 3 artists do their thing with Khaled minimally shouting again on the hook. Even the hook (by Brown) and verses (by Wayne, Sean, and Brown) are formulaic also — nothing new really from any of em except a little bit of a lazy flow from Sean and a combination of Future and Migos from Breezy. *shrugs* Not my style but it’ll be summer’s style for sure.
