The nostalgia is even more real with Chuck Inglish providing the new visuals to his reflection of the year 2003 and all of its culture. Like, G-Unit in the background… or CD players, or rims, or well… you get the point. Prepare to feel old, but enjoy the freshness below.
Chuck Inglish produces and there’s some “I Love College” vibes on Asher’s new single/video called “That’s Cute”. I dig the lemonade stand and filter throughout the video too. Feels like a hit for the younger demographic, but I don’t know… what do you think? @gowherehiphop
Fans fiending for a new project from The Cool Kids shouldn’t hold their breath. Mikey flat out squashes that dream but brings up a good mentality to have about it, while also revealing the cool cover art to his upcoming solo album, Populair.
Chuck Inglish does some DAMAGE on this new release/video. It features a heavy bass and sound that’s reminiscent of golden age Cool Kids. “GL Joe” with the crispy visuals.
Well this is a nice Friday night surprise.
Remember circa 2010, Kid Cudi & Chip Tha Ripper (now, King Chip) planned a collab project under the moniker Almighty GloryUS. Said Cleveland project never was released for whatever reason, but tonight we get an unreleased track from the two, produced by the Blended Babies & Chuck Inglish.
The combo sounds even better now, doesn’t it?
It translates below as Rich from Blended Babies dropped it tonight, even though as he says “cudi hates me anyways.” He believes that strongly in the music that it trumps whatever beef there may be.
Hey, an unreleased track has never really done any harm anyway amirite? “Chillen While We Sippin” is very solid too with Cud and Chip in vintage form and the beat being my favorite highlight of the track. Listen below…
Cool Kids back?!
Let’s hope this is the start of more new music to come as Chuck Inglish & Sir Michael Rocks reunite to add their stylings to the minimalistic, thumping “Look At Wrist” by Father (the original features ILOVEMAKONNEN). It’s a perfect beat for The Cool Kids to rock over and both Mikey & Chuck put down some fresh lines to match. This feels right…
Buddy & Chuck sounds like a great duo for a detective movie, and now also music. For this collab they covered SOHN with “The Wheel” and it’s fresh to hear all these styles converge. Here’s a solid add to your rotation below.
FWIW, bonus points for the cover resembling my old personal tumblr, ha!
