Drake OVO “6IX YEAR” Jordan 8’s

Drizzy took to the ‘gram last night to showcase his new collab with Jordan Brand β€” the “6IX Year” 8’s, which he wore/premiered at OVO Fest. These are the best looks of the shoe’s white and black colorways thus far, with the latter one below being the sharpest and my favorite. Hopefully these are made for some sort of general release down the line.

Future f/ Drake “Where Ya At”

Future & Drake go for some wine dining in their new visual for “Where Ya At” above. This building we get a glimpse off too is pretty sleek.Β Get a look at the life these stars are living though throughout.

Jay Electronica takes shots at Drake & J. Cole

Jay Electronica is the God of Hip-Hop. You might be the 6 God, but I am the God.

I’m sorry but J. Cole ain’t got bars like this. I’m sorry, whoever your favorite rapper is, they all know that I’m the God.

Jay Elect went off at a live show in London last night and Drake and J. Cole were in his crosshairs. Will this set off a response from either? Video below.

Drake “Energy” (Music Video)

UPDATE: A month-plus later, “Energy” is up on VEVO for all you non-Apple Music subscribers.

07.10.15: If you’ve followed Drake on the ‘gram you know that today was that “Energy” video drop date, only on Apple Music.

Accompanying the video though, Drake chopped it up with Zane Lowe (UPDATE: Rip of the interview below.) and announced the OVO Sound Radio Show, which will definitely play exclusives from time to time…

Tonight at 3PM PST / 6PM EST

The Weeknd & Drake chart updates

Lumping this milestone news together for Toronto’s finest today.

First, The Weeknd has the #1 song in the country! Would you have believed that in 2011? “Can’t Feel My Face” tops the Hot 100 this week and I suspect the run will at least ride through the rest of the summer.

ICYMI: My thoughts on Weeknd’s headlining Lolla performance

The other accolade goes to the city’s top dog, Drake, who has the first platinum album of 2015. 1 million copies sold… and this is after the initial rush got it for free back in February. Quite the accomplishment that Drake also dapped up on social media tonight too.

Platinum off the tape. Views up next. Thank you once again. πŸ’΅πŸ’·πŸ’ΆπŸ’΄6⃣
