This man finally dropped this project!!! “CocaineTears” is finally out!!! From the beginning I had said Dylan Tran will be one of the most respected producers in the game in a short time, press play on the first song and you will know just what I mean. This crazy ambient to jazzy to sexy sounding project is just what has been missing in music. Dylan Tran being the in-house producer for Two-9, he has finally took his time to shine and deliver something so pure and beautiful. Having only 3 artists on their including Jace and Curtis Williams, its was Rellajamu who was able to compliment Dylan’s sound all the way through with his style of rapping. Don’t be late and don’t pass this over, too much has gone into this and it is too great to be overlooked. Take a listen to “CocaineTears”, an incredibly refreshing project by Dylan Tran.
Dylan Tran and Rellajamu have have been quietly locked away creating Dylan’s upcoming tape “Cocaine Tears” for some time. After a few months of the release of the single “Pretty Memories” Ft. Jace and Curtis Williams, his fellow Two-9 members, Dylan decided it was time to drop the newest single off the tape, and drop it with the video.
With a VHS filmed music video, containing visuals from 2 different types of VHS cameras and having content from 2013, it was a perfect video for the song. While the song being more powering and moving and the visual being more of a mellow flashback type vibe, “The Ism” is one of the nicest songs and videos to drop this year. With the creative Bomani and Dylan putting the video together themselves, they had earned the posts from Illroots and Complex. Now with that being said I would not be surprised to see “Cocaine Tears” be one of the biggest projects of the year.
Mark My Words… Dylan Tran will be one of the most popular artist/producer in the hip hop scene in the next 5 years. The sounds that he is bringing as I am writing this while giving it It’s first listen and every second of the song sounds like a vibrant new sound that to me is just unreal. Jace delivers the first verse, and off the bat I hear his Atlanta attitude he seems to always bring to a track and his usual great energy. Curtis Williams comes through with the second verse and to be honest is the most felt real shit I have heard from him. The way he flowed and pieced this story together was near perfection. On Curtis’s rise with the Gang Two-9, he’s bringing his personal brand with him PTA “Pass The Ammo” and Dylan Tran, a brother as Curtis would call him, really brought just that modest musical feel to it. His production is so unique and his sound is more than just hip hop related, he puts sounds together that sound more of a movie of music than just, a song. Dylans mixtape “CocaineTears” will be out this week, expect to see it.
Cocaine Tears Trailer: The reason why I think Dylan Tran will be such a great artist is in this mixtape Trailer Video right here. He really is so abstract but clear at the same time, he is very artistic and this video seemed like it had a very interesting thought process.
Recently Atlanta has been making some noise in the hip hop world, a lot of that thanks to Two-9. The main face of Two-9 being Curtis Williams has a whole movement coming with him, aside from being apart of Two-9, he has his own brand called “PTA” (PassTheAmmo) which is pretty much a bunch of other rappers/producers doing their thing. Dylan Tran is someone i have been in contact with for a little while now, for a Valentines day special he dropped “<3.theory” a track off his up coming project “Cocaine Tears”. This beat is very fitting for Valentines Day, it is a bit slower and relaxed but the drums on this are just so dope, you can tell Dylan has a lot of versatility. I am really excited to hear more from him and what he has to offer.
