Hit-Boy goes 2 for 1 with 2 new songs and 2 new videos off his forthcoming mixtape.
“Automatically” is my favorite of the two with some tight, personal raps throughout. He actually does the same on the last verse of the second cut “Show Me Something” featuring B. Carr, and I like that beat better, but it’s still “Automatically” that takes it overall.
Needless to say though, I have favorable impressions for both new tracks so watch/listen below.
“Automatically” (prod. Hit-Boy and Smokey Beatz)
“Show Me Something” featuring B. Carr (prod. Cardo w/ Hit-Boy, Haze Banga, Rey Reel & Preach Bal4)
More HS87 today as the Hit-Boy led crew presents the new project from its upcoming singer Preston Harris. 7 new tracks and it instantly illustrates the potential of Harris who provides some nice vocals literally across the entire EP. Excellent R&B vibes for your rotation that emit color, peace, and some fresh soul all in one.
Oh and did I mention that all of the production is by Hit-Boy, so that alone is worth tuning in for. For me, it was hard to pick a favorite track but that also speaks to the strength of the project as a whole. Love Crazy flows together seamlessly and should be listened to from beginning to end. Do so below and be on the lookout for Preston Harris and HS87 as they begin the year on a high note.
Audio Push has a unique collab on their hands with “Fwd Back” enlisting the help of Riff Raff and King Chip. First collab across the board, if I’m not mistaken. On top of that, scroll below for another bonus new track as Beatboy & Hit-Boy co-produce “OTW”.
HS87 & MMG connect on the second weekly release from Audio Push. The flows are consistent as each emcee transitions to the next. Listen below.
Dope arcade cover art too. I just love arcade games.
NEW from HS87: K.Roosevelt’s 6 track EP, Journey, which features the singer expanding on his previous work and of course, the journey itself. Listen/download:
“The Boy” Casey Veggies drops a hot free release with this one produced by Hit-Boy and a couple from his HS87 crew Rey Reel & Haze Banga. If you recognize this one, you likely heard or saw the videos of Drake previewing this song during DJ sets last year. Final product turned out pretty nice. The repetitive hook is either love or hate as the production stands out regardless.
The HS87 duo goes black and white for the new video for “Parade”, off their new HS87 compilation album, We The Plug, released earlier this spring.
