DJ Khaled reveals Jay Z on album’s first single

Says a pumped up DJ Khaled:

And guess what? I just left Marcy Projects,” Khaled screamed, beating his chest. “What you think I’m playing with this sh–? Eight summers, I got Jay Z, Shawn Carter; I got Hova on my first single,” he said before slamming the mic to the ground. “Fuck this shit, I’mma show the game, boy.

Well, there ya have it. I kind of shrug at DJ Khaled albums, but his singles do bring together the biggest names in the game. This upcoming one will be his first with Hova.

Pharrell + guests LIVE @ Coachella

For Pharrell‘s second performance at Coachella (following up last weekend’s), he brought out even more A-list guests. Jay Z, Usher, Busta Rhymes, Pusha T and T.I. all performed their respective hits with Skateboard P and the fan footage of all is above (Jay Z on stage for 8 minutes) and below (“U Don’t Have To Call” is one of my favorite Usher grooves, and “Grindin'”… what else do I need to say?)

Jay Z & Beyonce summer stadium tour

Rumor has it, the Carters are coming to a stadium near you, starting July 4th in NYC. That city’s Page Six breaks the news, citing industry sources. I’m slightly skeptical until more reports surface and confirm this, but the stadium tour makes sense on the heels of “Drunk in Love”, the two performing the song together at a couple big-time award shows, and the fact that they’re married and can spend some quality time together.

The photo above, by the way, the Carters at Coachella. What do you think of their fashion here? (My thoughts summed up by Jamie Eisenberg/Mark Zuckerberg)
