Remember circa 2010, Kid Cudi & Chip Tha Ripper (now, King Chip) planned a collab project under the moniker Almighty GloryUS. Said Cleveland project never was released for whatever reason, but tonight we get an unreleased track from the two, produced by the Blended Babies & Chuck Inglish.
The combo sounds even better now, doesn’t it?
It translates below as Rich from Blended Babies dropped it tonight, even though as he says “cudi hates me anyways.” He believes that strongly in the music that it trumps whatever beef there may be.
Hey, an unreleased track has never really done any harm anyway amirite? “Chillen While We Sippin” is very solid too with Cud and Chip in vintage form and the beat being my favorite highlight of the track. Listen below…
Gambino & Chip guest for Cali group Overdoz’s latest and rap about the ladies of all forms on “7000 Girls”. Gambino pulls off the end of his verse too, IMO. Tune into the chill cut below, produced by Patrick Paige II of The Internet.
Audio Push has a unique collab on their hands with “Fwd Back” enlisting the help of Riff Raff and King Chip. First collab across the board, if I’m not mistaken. On top of that, scroll below for another bonus new track as Beatboy & Hit-Boy co-produce “OTW”.
Do “Lazy & Lucrative” go together? Chip hopes so at some point with some of the new raps over this chill Blended Babies production. Look at this as an appetizer for Chip’s upcoming album, Clevelafornia, in 2014.
N***a vegan, I don’t beef, I just stack kale/I’m on the couch having a blast can you tell
Last night, Kid Cudi rocked the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for a special date and the first one to follow the release of Satellite Flight. A couple treats were at hand as not only King Chip, but A$AP Rocky appeared as well and the three performed “Brothers” for what I think has to be the first time where all three were together. Unfortunately, no video of that just yet, but Kid Cudi did preview and premiere a new song a capella style. I love how the vibe with the fans rhythmically clapping along. As Cud says, it’s one of those “classic Kid Cudi songs in the essence as far as subject matter” and that he’ll “finish it” for us soon. Hopefully!
All-new Blended Babies remix as they link up with frequent collaborators Asher Roth & King Chip for new verses and a new production to ZZ Ward‘s “365 Days”. I dig Asher’s spoken word style verse as an appetizer to the female hook and King Chip’s rhymes that follow. The latter’s diction is especially on point here. Good rotation add below.
