Hip-Hop Revival links up with the East Side emcee Lil Bibby as they interview him and discuss his rise to prominence, Free Crack 3, being contacted to join the ranks of Spike Lee’s Chiraq soundtrack, amongst many other topics.
Lil Bibby’s FREE CRACK 3 is well on its way but before we get there we get some new sounds from Bibby in “You Aint Poppin Remix”.
Lil Bibby unleashed a trio of new tracks in the wee hours of the morning last night after Mayweather-Pacquiao. The one I and probably you will be drawn to first is the one featuring Lil Herb and production by C-Sick. Indulge below.
“Better Dayz” f/ Lil Herb (prod. by C-Sick)
“Gambino Freestyle” (prod. by Luca Vialli)
“F.I.L.W.T.P.” (prod. by Chop Squad)
Good to see the support for Bibby beyond what’s on wax. T.I. joins Bibby and crew for the visuals to the Free Crack 2 favorite “Boy”.
Chicago’s drill scene comes together for the official remix to “Faneto”, the latest street anthem you’ll surely be hearing out somewhere after this drop. I like Bibby’s delivery over the triumphant production the best, but that’s just me.
Listen below and hear for yourselves.
BONUS: The new King L video for “Selena”.
Dave East & Vado accompany Lil Bibby on his latest track “Real Rap”, which as you’d assume, features some pretty real raps from the Chicago breakout artist. I enjoyed his flow and bars on this first verse as the featured guests contribute for a solid listen all the way through. For the Digital Trapstars Screens On Lock 2 mixtape out now.
Bibby and Herb connect for the visuals to “Ain’t Heard Bout You” and well, it’s probably as you’d expect. Everything about this goes pretty hard and you’ll be hard pressed to think of something else other than the beat after one listen. ICYMI…
