The plan is just going – since, thank God, we’ve been so successful – just going back and forth with our hits, getting the crowd to go crazy. And then just finally hitting the stage together and going crazy… It’s a battle type thing.
It’s a battle type thing. I guess that means we’ll be seein’ Weezy and Drizzy trading tracks back and forth in what will sure to be a great concert experience. I wonder how Wayne would respond to Drake when he starts singing “Hold On, We’re Going Home” though, ha!
One more tidbit: Wayne says Drake will be appearing on Carter V “way more” than “Believe Me”. *nods head*
A quick rundown of the 2014 BET Awards Performances, in case you missed it. We had Beyonce & Jay Z sending in a video of “Partition” to close the show (hah! kinda funny), Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne performing his new single “Krazy”, John Legend & Jhene Aiko together (!), Trey Songz & August Alsina squashing their beef, Chris Brown back, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Robin Thicke, T.I. & Iggy Azalea, Pharrell, and more. And start it all off with how the show did: host Chris Rock‘s hilarious opening monologue as he takes fun jabs at Solange & Jay Z, Oprah, Rick Ross, Kevin Hart, and Donald Sterling.
Plus, some fun GIFs, MEMEs, and the like below too!

Carter V continues to shape up as the album of the summer.
Lil Wayne‘s latest preview of his hotly anticipated return of the Carter series is another vintage example of Weezy spazzing, and fits right in with “D’USSE” and “Believe Me” f/ Drake. I can’t help but chuckle at a handful of these rhyming, random references. Wayne goes especially hard from the start and then saves his longest stretch after the 3 minute mark. While it won’t last to me sonically, I really appreciate the effort and increasing substance that Wayne puts out here on “Krazy”. Now just stay tuned for that Carter V release date.
Last night’s episode of Weezy Wednesdays yielded some noteworthy news as Lil Wayne announces he plans to release two albums this year: the hotly anticipated Carter V and the second, which he may call, The Other Album. LMAO @ the other title. I approve. But let’s make sure Carter V is the success it’s shaping up to be first…
