Pavy “Sha’s Song”

One of Pavy‘s standouts from R.O.M.E. gets the visual treatment this week as “Sha’s Song” is dedicated to that good girl that Pavy once had. He admits his mistakes and reminisces on the good times while turning to vices in dealing with the fallout. Perhaps the fellas out there can relate. To me, the hook is the highlight — a catchy one that’ll last on ya after you give this a play. The video too depicts the story so follow along and ride to this one above.

Pavy “Get It”

Pavy‘s latest visual off the quality R.O.M.E. project that dropped earlier this summer is for the high-energy “Get It”. He and his SUH crew take to various points in the city to give some face time to the single that’ll certainly get stuck in your head after one listen. The beat, by Paris Beuller, is one of the best of its kind: that turn up in the club, trap elements to hip hop. Tune in above and look closely for a cameo from the ‘Gowhere’ hat #Salute

Pavy ‘R.O.M.E.’

Pavy‘s got a dope soundtrack to summer with his new project, R.O.M.E. (Rule Over My Enemies), and it kicks off with an engaging record “Losing My Religion”. It transplants your listening to the mood of the mixtape, a key ingredient to dive into a full project. You already have a previous *Tibs Fav. in “Ride” (really, a must-have song for cruising in the good weather) and I’m quickly discovering there are more top-tier tracks on R.O.M.E. You do the same, and get accustomed to a Chicago emcee that @AntWithGowhere and much of the team really vibe with in Pavy.

Pavy f/ BJ The Chicago Kid & Thomas Mac “Ride”

The perfect summer single for Chicago. “Ride” is something you can do along Lake Shore Drive with the windows down as Pavy links up with BJ The Chicago Kid and Thomas Mac for this fresh, feel-good record. Pavy’s raps set the tone for the two singers to croon on riding around and sonically, the mix of everybody over the production is on point. In fact, “Ride” has early ‘repeat’ status for me as I had to run it back after 1st listen. That should really be all I have to say to pique your curiosity, listen/download below.

The second single off the upcoming R.O.M.E. (Ruling Over My Enemies) LP, presented by S.U.H. Ent. Diggin’ the consistent classic art on the cover art as well (note “Get It” below).
