My SUH brothers, Pavy and C.Rich are dropping a collaboration EP entitled, ‘On The Edge.’ These two are some of my favorite talents out of Chicago at the moment so you know I’ll be all over that once it drops. But lets get into this first release off the project which comes in the form a DC produced single entitled, “Come Over.” A real smooth offering from Pav and C.Rich as they remake the classic Aaliyah’s song.
Pavy is getting to drop his next project Rule Over My Enemies (R.O.M.E.) and today we get this new track “Get It” produced by Paris Beuller. From the aggression that you can obviously hear in Pavy’s voice you can’t help but believe that Pavy is looking to embody the title Rule Over My Enemies in a literal sense.
F.A. The Squad and S.U.H. representer TreStyle is back with his second solo release Dark Days Bright Nights Pt. 2. This project features his F.A. brothers The Boy Illinois and production from Rel Elite. Tre uses this project to go even further into who he is as an artist as well as a individual.
Father forgive me is a record about some of the things us young people struggle with while we still try to keep and hold up our faith but at the same time be “young” & walk the line and having fun and do what we want to at the same time, and understanding that you may not live correctly at the moment because it’s just certain things that are to tempting to give up at the moment
Pavy‘s words above preface the song better than I could. What I can add is that: I like it. Simple as that, too. Because Pavy recognizes his flaws and immaturities, it’s actually pretty mature. I thought he delivered the message above really well in some easy-to-follow and relatable rhymes, touching on a few life examples along the way. Taking this song to another level is a smooth hook from singer Thomas Mac. His wavy flow balances out the raps perfectly as the production from Coop also acts as a nice compliment. Good stuff all around as Pavy preps his new project, with a Paris Beuller produced track to come next…
It’s been almost 3 years since Pav first grabbed my attention with “The Mission Statement.” That’s the one I’d say started this whole movement off for my homie. I know I say this shit like every time but it really is crazy to see how far Pavy has come and how much his skill has progressed. Still, this is merely the beginning, and today marks the birth of a new era/sound in hip hop. A toast to the birth of Pavy Caesar.
“Pavy drops the 1st look off his upcoming album which is scheduled to drop this summer, the song is produced by Atlanta producer Coop and is described by Pavy as a new sound he likes to call the “nigga opera”. Directed by Joe Lewis & Bernie Villapando.”
Produced by Rel Elite
DJ Que Eleven & DJ Playmaka’s are going to be releasing mixtape titled Bad Boys and “M.I.A.” is the first release from that project featuring Pavy, The Boy Illinois, and Page Kennelli.
Pavy has got to be one of the most consistent rising talents out at the moment. It’s been all improvement with every release he’s given us. I’m hearing it in the music and spotting it in the videos. I’d say a bright future lies ahead for our young Chicagoan. So long as he’s stays on pace and continues to do him of course. That’s in the bag though. C’mon vibe with us. #Midnight #SUH #TagThatShit.
