R. Kelly revealed on Facebook the date of his next album, Buffet.

Brooklyn, New York! I’m bringing my HITS to Barclays Center the day my “Buffet” album comes out September 25th.

And yup, he’ll be celebrating at Barclays. Get tickets tomorrow.

As a bonus #TBT, R. Kelly also tweeted his place at #1 in Spotify’s Most Nostalgic Song with this classic…

R. Kelly announces new album

“It’s all you can hear. I’m 27 years deep in the business, I’ve been blessed to do this music for so long and I’ve got a lot of great songs under my belt, and fans love it. But, I’ve got all different kinds of generations of fans now, and I have to feed everybody. You’ve got Hip-Hop, you’ve got old school music with the Step In The Name of Love type, then you’ve got traditional R. Kelly, sensuous sexual kind of music. It’s just a variety of things, so I call it the Buffet.

Bolded out the best part. I’m down to sample the Buffet when it comes out, inevitably soon.

R. Kelly f/ Shawnna “Back Up”

What’s this? New Kellz?

In what may be a single pre-cursing something bigger, R. Kelly links up with the hometown’s Shawnna for “Back Up”. Unique production to say the least, and I like it. Then you got Kellz doin his celebratory thang with Shawnna’s attitude to follow. Listen below:

Rick Ross f/ R. Kelly “Keep Doin That”

Rick Ross & R. Kelly link back up for the video to their new single — appearing on the former’s upcoming album, Hood Billionaire. I also noticed cameos by DJ Khaled & Jermaine Dupri on “Keep Doin That”. Is it me though or is this just more of the same?
