Rihanna may have just dropped what will prove to be the most talked about video of 2015.
(And we now have 2 candidates this week…)
“Bitch Better Have My Money” now has a new meaning after this 7-minute short film that delivers visually (aside from the nudity, guys) and conceptually. The story is actually a curiously unfolding thriller and centers around Ri-Ri in kidnap mode. There’s torture too. I won’t spoil it from here, except for the fact that, yes, Rihanna goes nude too. That, plus the excessive drug use, only adds to the art. I applaud the video overall, with the most magnificent cinematic effect being these smooth, far away shots of Rihanna and her crew on the yacht. Whew, so smooth.
Confirmed by the BBHMM producer himself, Deputy, in the new interview with Rap-Up below. The song sounds like it will be for Rihanna’s upcoming album and should be another successful pop/rap crossover with J. Cole involved.
Before that though, the BBHMM video… dropping Tuesday, says Ri-Ri, viewer discretion advised. *big eyes emoji*
To close out the season of SNL last night, Rihanna was the finale’s musical guest and performed her 2 current singles off her upcoming album, R8 — “American Oxygen” and “BBHMM”. In case you missed Ri-Ri’s songs and style choices (diggin’ the track suit and long red hair), press play below.
The SNL season finale is set to be an A-list affair as comedian Louis CK is the host and Rihanna, the musical guest. Here’s their quick couple of promos for Saturday’s show wherein Louis CK represents all of the male population at one point in grammar school, right?
What will the fiery red-haired Rihanna perform? BBHMM is a given, but will she premiere an all-new song or go with “American Oxygen”?

The biggest celebrities in the most elaborate formal wear. Here’s quite the gallery featuring KimYe, The Carters, Common, John Legend & Chrissy Teigen, Rihanna, Cassie & Diddy, FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson, Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union, Justin Bieber, Solange, and oh yeah J. Lo. Based on the Twitter volume I perused, Beyonce seems to be the big winner and I agree, she definitely killed. Also that Wizard of Oz meme on Rihanna’s dress. So it’s a draw.
Also, lowkey this is perfect.
