Met Gala Fashion

The biggest celebrities in the most elaborate formal wear. Here’s quite the gallery featuring KimYe, The Carters, Common, John Legend & Chrissy Teigen, Rihanna, Cassie & Diddy, FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson, Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union, Justin Bieber, Solange, and oh yeah J. Lo. Based on the Twitter volume I perused, Beyonce seems to be the big winner and I agree, she definitely killed. Also that Wizard of Oz meme on Rihanna’s dress. So it’s a draw.

Also, lowkey this is perfect.

SNL’s Jay Z & Solange Spoof

The Solange-Jay Z fight video… now with audio! (LMAO.)

Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata play Jay & Solange, the bodyguard Julius by Kenan Thompson, and Maya Rudolph as ‘Yonce. SNL’s best cold opening in awhile. I don’t think I stopped laughing.

LOL @ this timing…

“Also, I’m sure ya’ll are wondering why B is not here tonight, I mean she’s off making another sexually aggressive music video about a monogamous relationship, hahaha.”

Jay Z & Beyonce “RUN” dropped tonight with a star-studded cast.

Jay, Beyonce, & Solange’s official statement

We finally get official word about the most-talked about gossip hip hop story this week: Solange’s Street Fighter moment vs. Jay Z in an elevator. Of course, said official word is your usual politically correct mumbo jumbo that doesn’t answer the question we all want to know: what the hell set off Solange?

As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” an exclusive statement to The Associated Press read Thursday. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

Props to NBA on TNT’s Gone Fishin’ of the Brooklyn Nets last night, that I’m giving 100% credit to for being the spark to ignite an official statement to the AP. Also for being hilarious.
