Directed by Alex Herron, here is the new video for The-Dream and T.I.’s solid new single “That’s My Shit”. It’s a black-tie affair except the ladies are a little more scantily clad than the gents. Proceed above and be on the lookout for more Dream leading up to his Crown EP dropping March 31st.
Dream & T.I. is somethin’ I’d sign up for and “That’s My Shit” should ease its way in my rotation with more listens.
Solid offering from Dream on the heels of the excellent “Fruition”.
The-Dream’s new single has finally hit the interwebs. And I say finally because he pushed it the old fashioned route by giving it to select radio stations first. It’s about to be 2015 so alas, here it is as a HQ radio rip below.
For me, “Fruition” struck the right chord from the start. The production doesn’t dominate, rather compliments The-Dream as he sings about being lovestruck in a very relatable way. As a result, the hook connects lyrically and sonically and is one that the fellas and also the ladies can draw parallels to.
“Fruition” is expected to be a lead effort for Dream’s upcoming 2015 solo album, set to drop on his new “design and culture” label Contra Paris.
Dream announced the surprise new EP yesterday and delivers today. Royalty: The Prequel EP. 7 new tracks to stream below!
The-Dream’s “Black” originally dropped at the height of the Donald Sterling controversy and now the video follows, as shot in South Africa. Enjoy this while we await a new project from Dream.
