Chicago emcee ProbCause returns with his latest project “Drifters”. The project features Angel Davenport, Pivot Gang’s Saba, The O’My’s, Twista, amongst others. This is Prob’s latest solo project following the releases of Waves and his ZRO Fox project with Psalm One. If there is something we can take away from ProbCause’s music is that he has been crafting a cohesive sound from beginning to end and continues to do so in this latest release as we join him for the ride and drift away.
Chicago producer Drew Mantia is on to something great with his newest project “Feel Good Music” which features the likes of ProbCause, The O’My’s, Psalm One, amongst others.

Chicago soulful collective The O’My’s has a 4-track EP for free for ya today and it’s about Keeping The Faith. I use the word soulful emphatically as the live instrumentation and vocals probably bring you back to some feel-good, or even blues, joints of years past. I’m riding with all 4 of these records and love how it ends on “Forward”, which is about moving the direction the song title indicates. Tune in and vibe out below. Then download at theomysband.com.

ICYMI: “Pieces” [Music Video]
Following up the single release in recent weeks comes the video from Chicago collective The O’My’s, a longtime favorite of many here at the Gowhere staff, for “Pieces”. The dark lighting and psychedelic colors and mood match that of the song, which was different in the first place from much of O’My’s catalogue. Great to see the progression and now a visual that’s just as engaging. Directed by Tom Vin & Jay Caves off the upcoming EP, Keeping The Faith
The Rock N Soul icons of Chicago’s music scene The O’My’s are teaching us on how to “Rise Up Singing” as they advocate to continue to spread love and positivity because love is a beautiful thing!
“Love is what WE came for. WE is what I am made of.
Peace for my brothers, sisters, and me”
One of Chicago’s most revered Latino emcees breaks his silence with his newest release. Phero enlists Maceo of The O’My’s to let the world know that in a time of misfortune we will be “Alright”. This marks Phero’s latest release following up to his forthcoming project and is one of his most emotionally driven songs released in the wake of the tribulations occurring throughout the nation as a result of Michael Brown’s passing and grand jury decision that has sparked massive protests and unrest.
