Trey Songz was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to celebrate the release of his sixth album, Trigga. And in addition to the performances you may expect, Trey came out earlier in the show to explain the lyrics to “Na Na” with Jimmy Kimmel in a segment called “New Lyrics for Old People”. It was thoroughly hilarious and I think RapGenius now has some formidable competition, ha! “Na Na” in full, and “Foreign”, are below.
06.30.14: Bonus Trigga as “Serial” will be featured on exclusive releases of the album tomorrow at Target (1 of 3 bonus tracks) and on Beats Music. It’s something new for Trey as this pulsating beat inspires some new delivery at times and overall a different, darker sound, produced by Chicago’s own Da Internz. I vibe with this long record that’s definitely up there with the other top-tier tracks of the album.
UPDATE: Here are the other 2 bonus tracks. Trigga out today.
My favorite track amongst the previews for Trigga is the next feel-good summertime single from Trey Songz and to appropriately match, he takes to a fun summer rooftop party. Be sure to stream the full album from earlier in the day here.
Also available for a full album stream today is Trey Songz‘s sixth full-length LP of his career, Trigga. The album officially drops July 1st, but can be heard from beginning to end below. Features include: Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Juicy J, Ty Dolla $ign and Mila J, yet so far amongst the previews… his solo R&B tracks for “Change Your Mind” and “What’s Best For You” are going to be hard to top.
“Foreign” song title, foreign ladies. No surprise here, right? The video, directed by Gil Green, is actually a continuation too of the “SmartPhones” video (directed by Green as well), which it consistently cuts back to. Peep the attractive new video for the catchy, explicit single off Trigga, in stores July 1st.
