The accolades for “Glory” keep coming in for Common & John Legend during Awards season. The Golden Globe winners and Oscar nominated artists are now set to perform the song at the Grammys, as newly announced with other performers like Pharrell, Usher, Sam Smith, and Miranda Lambert.
They all join Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, AC/DC, Eric Church, and Madonna as the performers thus far for February 8th.
Methinks there’s only one more missing…
Just in time for your NYE party tonite, here’s Usher, Migos, and some Migos flow on “Still Got It”.
Zaytoven produces this party track and it actually feels more like a Migos featuring Usher track than the other way around.
Listen below, off the upcoming Digital Trapstars and WeGlobal mixtape, Screens On Lock: 4th Quarter Press.
My contribution: here’s the GIF for the Wedding Crashers “still got it” moment. #Classic
Usher goes straight R&B for his newest album release. And this one is that “exclusive” track that will appear on the bottom of Honey Nut Cheerios boxes at Wal-Mart. Maybe if this was 1998. (But I’m still coppin’ Honey Nut Cheerios from time to time…)
I like this direction compared to the last couple previews so naturally, I’m vibing with it below.
Khaled, Khaled, Khaled today as he enlists another jam-packed guest list — this time for the “Hold You Down (Remix)”. Below that, he releases a lengthy vlog that the internet is cracking up about, celebrating that the original has reached #1 on the urban charts. I didn’t really watch it because I got a sampling of it in this Instagram video today. You can’t unsee it, so take caution. In fact, don’t see it.
Kid Ink’s first and light-hearted fun single about the ladies entitled “Body Language” (prod. Cashmere Cat & StarGate) first premiered toward the tail end of summer and is now prime for another push with the all-new visuals above.
The video brings together all three artists as the fellas partake in a “Body Language” Live Peep Show. As you may assume then, this is probably not the best video to full-screen mode at work.
Ironically enough, for all of the scantily clad, twerking ladies in the video, none hold a candle to Tinashe who stuns in a fitting black outfit of her own. Sexy GIFs should accompany this video so get the tumblr searches going.
Also keep an eye peeled for some of the big-budget extras, in which I actually wanted to see more of this setting with all three together. It’s all too brief.
Usher sat down for an in-depth interview on Ebro in the Morning, where he touched on new music, old memories with Michael Jackson and his relationship with his ex, Tameka Foster. He also dished on some of his favorite shows (Games of Thrones), and preparing for his tour with August Alsina. Check it out above.
Usher’s new single features a new verse from Juicy J — the go-to rapper right now for singers, amirite? It’s starting to get redundant, but at least “I Don’t Mind” is a little different from Usher, who comforts his lady to get the money how she can, as long as she comes home. Not sure I can relate here, but it’s set to a soft, bouncy Dr. Luke and Cirkut production. Listen below.
