Saint Millie “Miss Me”

I definitely wish this song was a little be longer, but still you can rock with it all the same. Today Saint Millie gives us this new Von Vuai  produced track. Though “Miss Me” may give you the idea that is a chick track, I’m sure you’ll appreciate it simply as a dope song.

Brand Knew “Dreamworld” [Mixtape]

There’s no time for fairytales and fantasies, Brand Knew is one of Chicago’s most overlooked and one of Chicago’s most dedicated emcees, and that’s reality. Chicago spitter Brand Knew drops his second official release with “Dreamworld”, that is executive produced by Von Vuai and features production by MattAudioDope and J. Arhur of theWHoevers. The project also features guest verses by Saint Millie and theWHoevers [J. Arhur & Dot Kom]. In the eternal words of Tupac Shakur, “Reality is WRONG, Dreams are for real”, and this project is just one reason to begin to invest in the Chicago spitter Brand Knew as he continues to put out really dope music and continues to put into effect his goals and dreams and make them come into fruition.

Dream World Back

Brand Knew “I’m The Man”

Brand Knew some some new heat as he releases his latest single “I’m The Man”. The release marks the official second single off of Brand Knew’s forthcoming project “Dream World” that is executively produced by Von Vuai. The sophomore project by the Chicago emcee drops in the fall.

Brand Knew “Sip Slow” f/ Saint Millie

It’s been a while since we got some lyrical fuel from the homie Brand Knew but he returns in grand style to feed the masses. He returns with “Sip Slow” featuring Treated Crew emcee Saint Millie and production by Millie’s in house producer Von Vuai. The smooth, and laid back production also features a dope Three 6 Mafia sample of Sippin On Some Syrup. This makes it the first official single to Brand Knew’s forthcoming project “Dream World”. We’ll be keeping you updated on the release date.

The Boy Illinois “Winter & Construction” f/ Boss Woo

The Boy Illinois concluded 2013 with a bang as he opened up for Lupe Fiasco‘s entire Tetsuo & Youth Preview Tour. Now with his hometown under another heavy snowfall, it seems like the natural time to drop his first track of 2014: a Chicago collab called “Winter & Construction” featuring Boss Woo.

Illi handles the first part of the record, displaying that versatility that I feel helps stand him apart. I got into the record once the hook came and the beat (produced by Von Vuai) switched up. In fact, the beat switches up again, ratcheting up a notch to give Boss Woo a fresh canvas to impress as well. All in all, this is an auto-add to the rotation and one that’ll grow with more listens. Give it a couple yourself below!
