UPDATE: Here is full, fan captured video of the “All Day” video that features a new song at the end (hence the strange 2nd clip I originally described yesterday.)
The 1st of 4 performances as part of a Paris Fashion Week residency at Foundation Louis Vuitton took place just hours ago and brought about a few new goodies to peep below.
For one, Kanye premiered the full video for “All Day”, directed by Steve McQueen. All that’s up right now are a couple 20 second clips — one of which is Kanye appropriately spazzing out at a rocky shot from the camera (dope) and the other is just something different. I dunno, gonna have to see that in HD with HQ audio especially.
In the actual performance, Kanye performed a mix of new songs and classics ranging from almost all his albums amidst some brand new DONDA Surround visuals. The screens are amazing and remind me of what I imagined from the 7-screen experience of the Cruel Summer film in Cannes. Videos of everything from “Wolves” to “Runaway” to an “All Day” mosh pit below.
Kanye West performed in London tonight and it looked pretty crazy and filled with plenty of guests and surprises.
The most intriguing to me was the debut of another brand new song. This one’s with Vic Mensa again and produced by more Chicago artists gettin’ their first Kanye co-sign — Stefan Ponce, Smoko Ono, and D. Phelps are all behind the boards on this one. The beat sounds pretty awesome so far and the crowd was goin’ nuts below.
Apparently it’s called “U Mad” and it’s Vic’s song with Kanye and Big Sean featuring. Whoof, looks like “Wolves” wasn’t just a one time collab with ‘Ye.
Then finally, the London audience was treated to a live performance of two of Kanye’s newest album previews “All Day” (sans flamethrower, unfortunately) and “Wolves” with Vic on stage too (still need that CDQ.) The whole set was accompanied by some new background set visuals too and other surprise guests were Big Sean, CyHi The Prynce, Skepta, and Allan Kingdom. Visuals of all this below.
