Kanye debuts new song with Vic Mensa, brings out Wu-Tang in London

Whoo, where to begin…

Kanye West performed in London tonight and it looked pretty crazy and filled with plenty of guests and surprises.

The most intriguing to me was the debut of another brand new song. This one’s with Vic Mensa again and produced by more Chicago artists gettin’ their first Kanye co-sign — Stefan Ponce, Smoko Ono, and D. Phelps are all behind the boards on this one. The beat sounds pretty awesome so far and the crowd was goin’ nuts below.

Apparently it’s called “U Mad” and it’s Vic’s song with Kanye and Big Sean featuring. Whoof, looks like “Wolves” wasn’t just a one time collab with ‘Ye.

u mad. traffic season.

He also brought out the freaking Wu-Tang Clan. Watch some fan footage of “C.R.E.A.M.” below.

Then finally, the London audience was treated to a live performance of two of Kanye’s newest album previews “All Day” (sans flamethrower, unfortunately) and “Wolves” with Vic on stage too (still need that CDQ.) The whole set was accompanied by some new background set visuals too and other surprise guests were Big Sean, CyHi The Prynce, Skepta, and Allan Kingdom. Visuals of all this below.

Wu-Tang Clan “A Better Tomorrow”

Wu-Tang’s title track off their upcoming album on December 2nd. The beat is soothing and soulful as they sample Teddy Pendergrass “Wake Up Everybody” to deliver their thought-provoking message. How can you not appreciate this combo and lyrical effort from the Wu?! Diggin’ the substance on the heels of last night’s takeover of Letterman.

*Tibs Fav.

And they’re not the only ones to sample “Wake Up Everybody” in recent years… remember John Legend, The Roots, & Melanie Fiona?! Another nice listen.

BONUS: Raekwon also tries his hand at “Try Me” today.

Wu-Tang on Letterman

Wu-Tang takes to David Letterman in their home of NYC for a special late nite performance that sees the group, sans Raekwon, performing “Ruckus in B Minor” off A Better Tomorrow dropping December 2nd. Need that Method Man GIF (you’ll see the smoothness towards the end…)
