A Wu-Tang round-up

The weekend is as good a time as any to roundup the week that was and above and below, we have a trio of Wu-Tang goodies.

Up above is GZA‘s TED Talk (our 2nd posted today) where he talks about his co-founded program Science Genius that “seeks to engage high school students in science using hip hop.”

Also this week, Grantland posted a superb piece on the 20th anniversary Wu-Tang reunion, but interestingly enough, Raekwon isn’t a fan of RZA taking on full control of the project:

I would be the first one to say that we cannot leave everything in RZA’s hand no more. He has done his job to the greatest of his ability when we were younger, but now every man plays an imperative role in this situation. His plan was to do a more humble album. We was like, Nah. You can’t do that with the hardest group in the game.

Finally, how about some new music from that project? Wu-Tang’s “Keep Watch” is an instant raw track that I vibe with from the start. R&B singer Nathaniel helps on the hook and DJ Mathematics does the beat — both jobs well done. Listen below:

Wu-Tang Clan “Yall Been Warned”

Here is a new unreleased video for the Wu-Tang Clan for the song “Yall Been Warned”.  The track features Method Man, RZA, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon and Masta Killa. The song comes from their Iron Flag album but for some reason or another never was released until now. S/O to the folks over at Sugar Factory Films for dropping the new old video.
