The visual for the ‘Furious 7’ collaboration up above as T.I. & Young Thug get together for one of their many new collabs in general.
Ok, I’ve admittedly been off on every little twist in this Birdman/Young Thug vs. Lil Wayne saga. Apparently they (Birdman and Weezy) confronted each other this past weekend in Miami. But this turn of events is too crazy not to inform and write about.
Read the headline again!
Here’s the description and tweets, straight from Miss Info:
On Wednesday night, Atlanta WSB-TV’s Mike Petchenik reported that in an indictment, Birdman and Young Thug conspired to kill Lil’ Wayne, which lead to shooter Jimmy Carlton Winfrey carrying out Thug’s order in that tour bus shooting in April.
The indictment also cites Young Thug’s “Halftime” music video, where Winfrey, a close associate of the rapper, is seen brandishing an assault rifle. In that shooting back in April, Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus was hit with gunfire following a show at Club Compound. Fortunately, no one was injured in the shooting, and Jimmy Carlton Winfrey was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity.
Winfrey was known as Thug’s former manager and remained a close friend and associate of the rapper. The new development comes just hours after Young Thug was arrested for allegedly threatening a mall security guard.
Aight guys, this is getting too far. We don’t want this to escalate even more than this (which goes without saying) so hopefully this news, whether 100% true or not, inspires some sort of burying of the hatchet. Stay tuned…
In this new sit-down with STASHED, Hannibal Buress talks everything from his quick-witted start in comedy, writing briefly for SNL and Megan Fox, LeBron’s hairline, and in the hip hop crossover: he impersonates Young Thug. Buress goes on to talk about “gibberish rap” and listening to the songs a 3rd or 4th time to catch the lyrics. Haha, pretty great from beginning to end.
Young Thug’s formerly known album, Carter 6, was changed to Barter 6 after Lil Wayne’s recent diss on Thugger clearly forced his hand. That issue stands apart from the music itself, which can now be heard in full below.

2. With That
3. Can’t Tell f/ T.I. & Boosie Badazz
5. Never Had It f/ Young Dolph
6. Dream f/ Yak Gotti
7.. Dome f/ Duke
9. Amazing f/ Jacquees
10. Knocked Off f/ Birdman
13. Just Might Be
Here’s another ingredient to add to the Lil Wayne-Birdman feud. Birdman has been buildin’ with Young Thug the most lately and Thugger confirms that his upcoming project will be titled, Carter 6 — clearly aimed at Wayne. He does so by previewing his remix of “Grindin'” below.
The “Old English” video premieres and reminds me of some 90s MTV animation. The three don’t appear together, but the end result is still pretty fresh. Watch/enjoy above.
New Young Thugger and it honestly caught my attention because when I saw the title was “Pelican Fly”, I thought of Anthony Davis and his 6 blocks against our Bulls last nite.
…See the connection?
Anywho, I’m not up on every Young Thug track but “Pelican Fly” did have some redeeming qualities to it. Namely, the beat was pretty solid and the song had some solid lines and melodies as it went on. Give this a shot at your rotation below.
